Terms of Service

Last updated:

Who we are and acceptance of these terms

OnMyWay is the service available at sendonmyway.com (our marketing site) and app.sendonmyway.com (the app itself). These terms cover both.

By creating an account or using OnMyWay, you agree to these terms. If you're signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorised to bind that business. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the service. Questions? Email us at support@sendonmyway.com.

The service

OnMyWay helps service providers keep their clients informed and gather Google reviews. The loop is simple: you add a job (typed or dictated by voice), tap "On My Way", and your client receives a WhatsApp message with a link to a live ETA tracking page — no app install needed on their end. When you tap "Mark Done", OnMyWay sends your client an automatic Google review request.

We may improve, add or remove features over time. Where a change materially reduces what the service does, we'll aim to give you reasonable notice.

Your account

You need an account to use OnMyWay. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Keep your account details accurate, and let us know at support@sendonmyway.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

You must be at least 18 and using OnMyWay for business purposes.

Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required. At the end of the trial, you'll need a paid subscription to continue using the service. If you don't subscribe, your account will lose access to paid features until you do — we don't charge you automatically, because we never took a card.

Subscriptions and billing

OnMyWay is billed monthly at the price shown at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, and we don't charge you again after that. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.

We may change our prices. If we do, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price will only apply from your next billing period.

Acceptable use

OnMyWay sends messages to your clients on your behalf, so a few rules matter:

  • Consent and expectation. You must only message people who expect to hear from you — typically clients who have booked a job with you. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to contact them.
  • No spam. Don't use OnMyWay to send marketing blasts, unsolicited messages, or messages to people who haven't engaged your services.
  • Accurate details. You're responsible for the accuracy of the client names, phone numbers and job addresses you enter. Messages go where you send them.
  • Lawful content. Don't use the service for anything unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, particularly where misuse puts message deliverability or other users at risk.

Messaging and third parties

Messages are delivered over WhatsApp, which is operated by a third party. We work to send every message promptly, but we can't guarantee delivery, timing or display — mobile networks and WhatsApp are outside our control.

When you dictate a job by voice, the audio recording is sent to OpenAI (using their gpt-4o-transcribe and gpt-4o-mini models) to transcribe and parse it into a job. Don't dictate anything you wouldn't want processed this way.

Google review requests link to Google's review flow. Whether a client leaves a review, and what they write, is entirely up to them and governed by Google's own terms.

Your data and your clients' data

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

For the client details you enter into OnMyWay (names, phone numbers, job addresses), you are the data controller and OnMyWay processes that data on your instructions to deliver the service. You're responsible for making sure you can lawfully share that data with us and that your clients would reasonably expect to receive ETA updates and review requests from you.

Each job creates a live ETA tracking page shared with your client for the duration of that job. It shows your name, business name, rating, approximate arrival time and the job address you entered.

Availability

We provide OnMyWay "as is" and use reasonable endeavours to keep it running smoothly. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time — maintenance, outages and third-party failures happen. We'll do our best to fix problems promptly.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of business, or losses caused by undelivered or delayed messages, third-party networks, or inaccurate details entered into the service.

Termination

You can stop using OnMyWay and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, misuse the messaging features, or fail to pay. Where practical, we'll warn you first. On termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as limitation of liability) will survive.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when we add features or the law changes. If a change is material, we'll give you reasonable notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use OnMyWay after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top always shows the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them — although nothing stops either of us seeking to enforce rights that apply regardless of jurisdiction.

If you have any questions about these terms, contact us at support@sendonmyway.com.
